Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Systems

Cookies, log files, and pixel-tags (web beacons) are technologies used by Zoetis websites to identify a user as the user moves through our websites. Your browser allows us to place some information (session-based IDs and/or persistent cookies) on your computer’s hard drive that identifies the computer you are using. We may use cookies to personalize our websites and to track your usage across other Zoetis websites.

Zoetis is implementing a technology solution that allows you to control your cookie preferences, including whether you will accept cookies or reject cookies. If your browser is set to reject cookies, websites that are cookie-enabled will not recognize you when you return to the website, and some website functionality may be lost. The Help section of your browser will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting cookies.

On occasion, we contract with third parties to place cookies on your computer’s hard drive. These third parties have entered into an agreement with us that requires them to observe our Privacy Policy. When information obtained from third parties is associated with your data, we treat this data as personal information.

Although cookies do not normally contain personal information, if you have provided us information about you, we may associate your registration information with cookies or other tracking utilities our website places on your computer’s hard drive. Associating a cookie with your registration data allows us to offer increased personalization and functionality. Without cookies, this functionality would not be possible. In accordance with local laws, you will have the option to opt-in or opt-out at any time.

Some of our business partners may use cookies on our sites (for example, links to business partners). We do not want our business partners to use cookies to track our customers’ activities once they leave our sites. However, we may not have total control over how our business partners may use cookies on our websites. Information We Collect from Visitors

Personal information that we collect is only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes. We will not further use personal information in any manner incompatible with the purposes outlined in this policy without notifying you. Personal information that we collect, and process must be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is used.

We may collect information directly from visitors to each of our websites, as well as indirectly, through the use of cookies and other technologies.  We might track information provided to us by your browser, including the website you came from (known as the referring URL), the type of browser you use, the time and date of access, and other information collected via/used by cookies. We may also collect data about the location of your PC, any logging information, information about your device, your browser and similar type of information. On some of our websites and where required, you must register to access portions of the site, and you may receive a notification regarding the purpose of the collection of your personal information. For any further information on cookies please refer to the cookies policy published on www.zoetis.com website.

In addition, we might gather information about you that is automatically collected by our web server, such as your IP address and domain name. Zoetis may use web server and browser information to individually customize its offerings and presentations if you submit your personal information. Such customization shall be performed upon your prior consent and/or notification as required.

Information We Collect When You Register

Visitors registering for services on our websites are asked to provide identifying information, such as name, gender, and contact information. On the registration screen, we clearly label which information is required for registration, and which information is optional and may be given at your discretion. In certain jurisdictions Zoetis obtains visitors’ consent before collecting personal information.

Information From Outside Sources

We may also collect information about veterinarians or other animal health care professionals who register on our websites from other sources in order to verify their licensure status and identity. In some cases, we ask customers for information after they register, such as credit card information. Where necessary (for example, to process an order for a purchase), our websites may contact financial or credit organizations to confirm customer credit card information.

How We Use and Disclose Your Information

Aggregate Data

We gather aggregate data about visitors to our websites for product and service development and improvement activities. We also use it for market analysis. We may provide information from our websites in aggregate form, with personal information removed, to third parties.


We may target our marketing messaging depending on information we have about you. We may also personalize our website based on your interests. For example, you may see different articles in different places on our website based on information you have shared with us, or information we have gained by reviewing your previous visits, or information we may have gained from your interactions with a third party that shares information with us. This functionality may be possible if you either provide your consent, or if we notify you about it.

When we share information with third parties working on behalf of Zoetis, we use our best efforts to assure that they agree in writing to abide by Zoetis principles of the privacy policies.

If we discover that a third party working on behalf of Zoetis inappropriately disclosed personal information about any of our visitors, we will take immediate action to prevent further occurrences.

Other than as described above, Zoetis will not release personal information to a third party without your consent.

Tell-A-Friend (only applicable in the United States)


  • Собаки индивидуального содержания любой породы, включая смешанные породы, с хорошим здоровьем на день первичного обследования (День 0)
  • Владельцы (или их представитель) в обязательном порядке подписывали форму одобрения на участие собаки в исследовании
  • Собаки обоих полов, в том числе и кастрированные животные
  • Возраст собак был от 12 месяцев и старше на день начала эксперимента (День 0)
  • Собаки весили от ≥3 кг до ≤80 кг на день начала эксперимента (День 0)
  • Собаки принимались в исследование в День 0 если оценка клиента, согласно Шкалы Визуальной оценки соответствовала «средний зуд/дерматит,» «сильный зуд/дерматит,» или очень сильный зуд/дерматит».
  • Собаки имели подтвержденный диагноз «хронический, внесезонный атопический дерматит» ( заболевание диагностировано и проявлялось в течении 1 года). Диагноз подтверждался на основании истории болезни, клинических признаков и методом исключения других диагнозов.
  • Все собаки подвергались тщательному исследованию, с целью исключения пищевой аллергии, блошиного дерматита, бактериального или грибкового дерматита, внутриних и внешних паразитарных инфекций, отитовы, метаболических нарушений и т.д. Подтверждающие внутрикожные или серологические тесты на уровень lgE рассматривались, но не требовались для подтверждения диагноза.
  • Подтвержденный диагноз «Атопический дерматит» ставился на основании критериев Виллемса в модификации Прелауда, и основывался на проявлении не нее чем 3-х нижеперечисленных признаков:
    — Первые признаки заболевания проявились в возрасте от 6 месяцев до 3-х лет
    — Зуд контролируемый кортикостероидами
    — Двусторонний эритематозный пододерматит
    — Эритематозный или лихенифицирующий дерматит в крупных складках кожи
    — Хейлит
  • Собаки с оценкой по шкале CADESI-02 не менее чем на 25 баллов в День 0.
  • Если в День 0 собаки незапланированно понадобилось лечение, схема лечения оставалась неизменной на протяжении 6 недель, и не изменялось во время исследования.
  • У собак не было блох в День 0 и владелец применял противоблошные средства во время эксперимента. При необходимости проводилась противоблошная обработка дома, средствами рекомендованными врачом. Собаки с блошиным дерматитом принимались в исследование на основание подтвержденных обострений атопического дерматита и обрабатывались средствами от блох. Если блохи были выявлены в ходе первичного обследования, собака исключалась из исследования, ей назначались препараты от блох и собака могла вернуться в исследование только после лечения.
  • Собаки с пищевой аллергией ( диагностированной до Дня 0) и с выраженным атопическим дерматитом получали гипоаллергенные корма и содержались на данной диете не менее чем 6 недель до начала исследований. Рацион не менялся в ходе исследований, Все пищевые аллергены, выявленные в ходе тестирования исключались из рациона. Обязательным условием было строгое соблюдение диеты на протяжении всего эксперимента.
  • Все собаки (с пищевой аллергией или без нее) придерживались установленного режима кормления и рациона на протяжении всего эксперимента.
  • Если собаке проводилось внутрикожное тестирование, оно должно было проходить не менее чем за 8 недель до начала исследования.
  • В случае применения неспецифической иммунной десенсибилизирующей терапии, собаки оставались на ней на протяжении не менее 12 месяцев.
  • В случае отмены неспецифической иммунной десенсибилизирующей терапии, это было сделано не менее чем за 8 недель до начала исследования.
  • Если собака получала препараты, разрешенные для совместного приема с Апоквел, доза и схема применения не изменялась.
  • Если собака была на сопровождающей терапии все требования по отмене, периоду выведения из организма были соблюдены владельцами.

California Privacy Rights

Certain California privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), require that we provide California residents with specific information about how we use their personal information. 

Categories of Personal Information that We Collect and/or Disclose

Below please find the categories of personal information about California residents that we may collect and/or disclose to third parties or service providers for a business purpose:

  • NAME, CONTACT INFORMATION AND IDENTIFIERS: Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol (IP) address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers.
  • CUSTOMER RECORDS: Paper and electronic customer records containing personal information, such as name, signature, address, telephone number, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information.
  • PURCHASE HISTORY AND TENDENCIES: Commercial information, including records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • USAGE DATA: Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a resident’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.
  • AUDIO/VISUAL: Photographs and videos.
  • PROFILES AND INFERENCES: Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about a resident reflecting the resident’s preferences, characteristics, and predispositions.

California Consumer Rights

If you are a resident of California, California law gives you the right to make the following requests, up to twice every 12 months:

  • The right to request a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you in the prior 12 months. 
  • The right to request details about the categories of personal information we collect, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting information, and the categories of third parties with which we share information.
  • The right to request deletion of the personal information that we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions.
  • The right to opt-out of sale of your personal information, in the event Zoetis ever decides to sell  your personal information. 

The CCPA prohibits discrimination against California consumers for exercising their rights under the CCPA and imposes requirements on any financial incentives offered to California consumers related to their personal information, unless the different prices, rates, or quality of goods or services are reasonably related to the value of the consumer’s data. We do not discriminate against any consumers who elect to exercise their CCPA rights.
